The noises of the city (John Cage)

So when I moved to Copenhagen in the summer of 2011, I had to get use to the so-called noise that the city produced, it being the cars, busses, the people, the airplanes, sirens, neighbors and so on.
I had a hard time dealing with the noise during the nighttime, because I was used to the so-called silence.

In the meantime, I have learned to deal with the noise during the nighttime, but I still hear it sometime.

So what if I follow a great man's word. John Cage said:

"
I wouldn't dream of getting double glass because I love all the sounds. The traffic never stops, night and day. Every now and then a horn, siren, screeching brakes, extremely interesting and always unpredictable. At first I thought i couldn't sleep through it. Then I found a way of transposing the sounds into images so that they entered into my dream without waking me up. A burglar alarm lasting several hours resembled a Brancusi.
"

John Cage was the man who made "4,33", the song which is nothing but silence.
