"Good Man" - Søren Nørregaard [VIDEO and free full-song download]

Hello everybody,

I am very glad to finally release the song "Good Man" today, in two different versions. I have decided to publish an acoustic version on YouTube alongside with a link to the full-band song available to download for free via bandcamp.

I have spent my entire summer writing, recording and mixing this one song, and I am extremely satisfied with the outcome. What turned out to be a very long and giving process with my good friend Kasper Hertz, who is also playing the drums on the song, I wrote a very personal song about my dad.

The first take on the lyrics was really a lot different from what it ended up with, but somehow it turned around as I was sent a bunch of pictures of my dad which I had never seen. It was pictures of my dad around the same age and even younger than what I am now. The weirdest thing is, that he looks so much like me, but I never got to meet him - we never got the chance to know each other. And even with that fact in mind, it seems as though he is somehow important, was important. Whomever I have ever spoken to about my dad has told me one thing: "He was a good man".

I would like to thank Kasper Hertz for the hard work he has put into this song, given he recorded the whole song (me playing everything but drums and wind instruments), given he used all his equipment, given he spent hours and hours of mixing, and given he spent his time with me, for my project. Thank you!

I would also like to thank Michel Poulsen for helping me out with the video and for making all the cover-art, art etc. Thank you!
